About Merritt

Working as a  CAD Artist in the Fashion industry for over a decade- Merritt is currently freelancing for global clients in Mens, Womens, Kids and Home divisions. Working over the years for companies such as White House Black Market, Kohls, Anthropologie, Victoria's Secret, WalMart, US Polo Assn, and more has required her to keep a flexible style. She loves a flat graphic illustrative file - but also does watercolor & gouache originals to be translated into seamless designs. Mainly working in Adobe programs after hand drawing her designs, she loves to play with bold colorful prints and whimsical novelty subject matter. 

Never one to settle for doing the same thing over and over, Merritt is always working something new. From presenting Craft items on Live National TV (Home Shopping Network) to crafting jewelry and Fine Art, you can count on Merritt to visualize your design needs! In July of 2022 I was chosen to Complete a Storm Drain Mural as part of the "Only Rain Down the Drain" initiative by the City of Pinellas Park, FL. 

This project pictured here is part of the Mindful Muralists group gathered by Zulu Painter. I'm proud to be a part of the crew - creating these incredible murals around town for those who deserve it the most. This Dali Inspired backdrop is peppered with actual kids drawings from the Summer Camp and can be found at the Campbell Park Rec Center Art Room!
